28Replacing the Light BulbsLight bulb replacement is considered to be a homeownermaintenance operation. If the lights do not work, before replacingthem, please consult the Problem Solution Guide on page 30.To replace the light bulbs, follow these steps:Turn off power to the oven at the main power supply.Gently insert the pointed end of the supplied lens pry stickunder the center edge of the lens cover. Hold your handunder the lens for support and pry it loose. Pull the lens coverstraight out.Using a glove, insert the new bulb into the socket. Replace thelight bulbs only with Dacor Part No. 100429, available fromany authorized Dacor parts dealer.IMPORTANT: Do not touch the replacement halogen lightbulbs with your fingers. Halogen bulbs are sensitive to the oilsfrom your hand. The oils from your hand will stick to the bulband cause it to burn out faster than normal.When reinstalling the lens cover, line up the cut-out on theinside rim with the light socket. The lens covers protect the bulbs from breakage.Use the pry stick with caution.
