12Installation InstructionsRemoving the Oven DoorWARNINGDo not attempt to disengage the hinge catches with the•door removed from the oven. The hinge springs couldrelease causing personal injury.Do not lift or carry the oven door by the handle.•To make the range easier to move, remove the door to reduceweight.Open the door to its fully opened position.1.Rotate the catch over the retaining arm on each hinge.2.Lift the oven door to about a 15° angle from the vertical3.position.Hold the door with both hands just below the handle and pull4.it away from the oven while continuing to lift.Electrical ConnectionWARNINGWire the range only in compliance with local ordinances.•Do not turn on power to the range until instructed to do•so in the Verifying Proper Operation section of theseinstructions.Improper connection of the electrical wiring can cause an•electric shock hazard and damage the appliance.
