3Clean Before UsingAfter you remove all of the packaging materials, clean the insideof your refrigerator before using it. See the cleaning instructions inCare and Cleaning.Important information to know about glass shelves andcovers:Do not clean glass shelves or covers with warm water whenthey are cold. Shelves and covers may break if exposed tosudden temperature changes or impact, such as bumping.For your protection, tempered glass is designed to shatter intomany small, pebble-size pieces. This is normal. Glass shelvesand covers are heavy. Use special care when removing them toavoid impact from dropping.Turning the Main Power Switch On/OffIf you need to turn the power to your refrigerator on or off,you must remove the top grille assembly to access the powerswitch. Turn the power to the refrigerator off when cleaning yourrefrigerator or changing light bulbs.Remove the PackagingIf the ice storage bin is located on the door, remove thetemporary shield from underneath the ice storage bin. See IceMaker and Storage Bin.Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning onthe refrigerator. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap overthe adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with warm water and dry.Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammablefluids or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. Theseproducts can damage the surface of your refrigerator.
