Service must be provided by a Dacordesignated service company.LIMITED WARRANTYIn the third through sixth years from the date of purchase, whenthis major appliance is operated and maintained according toinstructions attached to or furnished with the product, Dacor willpay for factory specified parts and repair labor costs to correctdefects in materials or workmanship in the sealed refrigerationsystem. These parts are: compressor, evaporator, condenser,dryer, and connecting tubing. Service must be provided by aDacor designated service company.In the seventh through tenth years from date of purchase, whenthis major appliance is operated and maintained according toinstructions attached to or furnished with the product, Dacor willpay for factory specified parts to correct defects in materials orworkmanship in the sealed refrigeration system. These parts are:compressor, evaporator, condenser, dryer, and connecting tubing.30 day limited warranty on water filter. For 30 days from the dateof purchase, when this filter is operated and maintained accordingto instructions attached to or furnished with the product, Dacorwill pay for replacement parts to correct defects in materials andworkmanship.NOTE: The full warranty and the limited warranties apply whenthe refrigerator is located in the United States or Canada.Refrigerators located elsewhere are covered by the limitedwarranties only including parts that fail during the first year.*Warranty is null and void if non-CSA approved product istransported from the U.S.LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITYThe warrantor shall not be liable for any incidental orconsequential damages, including food loss. Some states do notallow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so theabove limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.What is Not CoveredService calls to correct the installation of your major appliance,1.to instruct you on how to use your major appliance, to replaceor repair house fuses, or to correct house wiring or plumbing.Service calls to repair or replace appliance light bulbs, air2.filters or water filters. Consumable parts are excluded fromwarranty coverage.Repairs when your major appliance is used for other than3.normal, single-family household use or when it is used in amanner that is contrary to published user or operatorinstructionsand/or installation instructions.Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse,4.fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, installation notin accordance with electrical or plumbing codes, or use ofconsumables or cleaning products not approved by Dacor.Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, chips or other5.damage to the finish of your major appliance, unless suchdamage results from defects in materials or workmanship andis reported to Dacor within 30 days from the date of purchase.Any food or medicine loss due to refrigerator or freezer6.product failures.Costs associated with the removal from your home of your7.major appliance for repairs. This major appliance is designedto be repaired in the home and only in-home service iscovered by this warranty.Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized8.modifications made to the appliance.Expenses for travel and transportation for product service9.if your major appliance is located in a remote area whereservice by an authorized Dacor servicer is not available.The removal and reinstallation of your major appliance if it10.is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed inaccordance with published installation instructions.Major appliances with original model/serial numbers that have11.been removed, altered or cannot be easily determined. Thiswarranty is void if the factory applied serial number has beenaltered or removed from your major appliance.The cost of repair or replacement under these excludedcircumstances shall be borne by the customer.
