Read the Owners Manual and Rules for Safe Operation andInstallation Instructions carefially. Failure to follow these Rulesand Instructions cotfld cause serious bodily injury, and!or prop-erry damage.2. Check your local electrical wiring codes before installation, ffyour local codes are not followed, your pump will not work toits full rated capacity. If in doubt, contact your local PowerCompany.3. Be certain your pump installation meets all local plumbing,pump and well codes.4. While installing the pump, always keep the well covered to pre_vent leaves and foreign matter from falling into the well and con-taminating the water and/or causing possible serious damage tothe mechanical operation of the pump.5. Always test the well water for purity before using. Check withlocal health department for testing procedure.6. Before installing or servicing your pump, BE CERTAIN pumppower source is disconnected.7. Be sure your pump electrical circuit is properly grounded.8. Complete pump and piping system MUST be protected againstbelow freezing temperature. Failure to do so could cause severedamage and voids the Warrant3,.9. Make sure the line voltage and frequency of the electrical circnitsupply agree with the motor wiring. If motor is dual voltagetype, BE SURE it is wired correctly for your power supply.10. The correct fusing and wiring sizing is essential to proper motoroperation. Recommended fusing and wire size data is in themanual. |
