1The Accu-Rip is designed as an accessoryfor use with most circular power saws. Itwill only work with circular saws thatcontain Right-Hand Blades.When used properly, the Accu-Rip willimprove the accuracy of long, straight cutsin any material that you would normally cutwith your saw. The Accu-Rip alsoeliminates several time consuming stepsnormally needed when using a circular sawto make straight rip-cuts to a specific width:ß Eliminates the need for a tape measureß Eliminates 'marking' the materialß Eliminates the use of chalk linesß Because the Cut-Guide follows the edgeof your material, you no longer need tocarefully follow a line on the material.ß Allows you to change cutting widths inseconds by simply adjusting the Cut-Guide.You can use the Accu-Rip to make straightrip cuts as narrow as 1/16 inch, or as wideas 24 inches for splitting 48-inch materialsuch as plywood, wafer board, paneling, orsiding.The design of the Accu-Rip allowsadjustment to fit most current brands ofsaws. It has been tested with the currentmajor brands of Right-Hand Blade circularsaws. If you have an older circular saw,the Accu-Rip may not fit properly into thesaw base plate.Please read carefully all sections of thisUser Guide. The Operator Tips sectiongives useful information on ways to makeyour Accu-Rip perform at its best.ß Always unplug your saw from the powersource before attaching or removing theAccu-Rip.ß The Accu-Rip is designed to fit Right-Hand Blade circular saws only.
