8Width of cut is notaccurate1. Accu-Rip Zero mark is notaligned with the Zero markon your saw.2. T-bolts have loosened onthe Accu-Rip.3. Cut-Guide Handle hasloosened on the Accu-Rip.1. Re-align Accu-Rip Zero mark andthe Zero mark on your saw. Referto Fig.5b.2. Re-tighten T-bolts. Refer to Fig.83. Re-position Cut-Guide to desiredcutting width and tighten Cut-GuideHandle.Cut is not straight 1. Too much force is beingapplied against the Accu-ripwhen making cuts.2. Dull or worn saw blade3. Improper saw blade formaterial.4. Making a cut too quickly.5. T-Bolts or Cut-GuideHandle has loosened.6. Accu-Rip is not flush withSaw’s base plate.1. Only apply light pressure whenholding the Cut-Guide against theedge of your material during a cut.Push the Accu-Rip in a forwardmotion, at the same pace as youpush your saw. Refer to Fig.9.2. Sharpen or replace blade.3. Use only blades designed for thematerial being cut.4. Slow down your cut speed. Do notapply excessive pressure whenmaking a cut.5. Re-align and re-tighten T-bolts andCut-Guide Handle.6. Re-attach Accu-Rip to Saw’s baseplate, making sure that the Accu-Rip is flush with the front edge ofthe saw’s base plate. Refer to Fig.5 & 5aCut-Guide does not slidesmoothly1. Cut-Guide Handle is notloosened.2. Cut-Guide channel isclogged with sawdust ordebris.1. Loosen Cut-Guide Handle to makeCut-Guide slide smoothly2.
