Removeallpackinginserts.2. Movethe snowthrowerout of the carton.3. Makecertainthe cartonhasbeencompletelyemptiedbeforediscardingit.DoNOTlift the snowthrower bythe chutehandle.Before AssemblyNOTE:Referenceto right, left, front or rearofthe unit isfrom the operatingposition,facingforward,unlessotherwisestated.Setting UpThe HandleNOTE:Beawareof the threelooselyfitted cabletiesattachedto the lowerhandlethatwill be utilizedlaterto securethe cables.1. Loosenandremovethe wing knob,saddlewasher,handletab andcarriagescrewon eachsideof the lowerhandle.SeeFigure1.2. Slidethe looselyfitted cabletiefrom the right sideofthe lowerhandleup tothe crossmemberof the lowerhandle.Leavethe secondcabletie in placeonthe rightsideof the lowerhandle.SeeFigure3forreference.IMPORTANT: It will be necessary to lift the upper handle whilesliding up this cable tie to prevent damage to the cable.3. Lift the upperhandleupandpositionit overthe lowerhandle,aligningtheholeswherethe wingknobswereremoved(1).SeeFigure2.Becareful not to bend or kinkthe cables.4. Inserta carriagescrewfromthe outsidethroughahandletab,the upperand k,,,lowerhandles,asaddlewasherandinto the wingknob(2).Repeaton theotherside. _-5.
