Selectthe oil's viscosity grade according to yourexpected operating temperature. Follow thechart below.Colder _1-- 32°F Warmer- 5W30 I SAE 30 -NOTE: Although multi-viocosity oils (5W30, 10W30,etc.) improve starting in cold weather, thesemultiviscosity oils will result in increased oilconsumption when used above 40°F. Check the oillevel more froquentiy to avoid possible enginedamage from running low on oil.Fill engine with oil as follows.• Remove oil fill dipstick. Oil bottles packed with unitcontain a total of approximately 40 oz. of oil.GasolineWARNING: Experience indicates that alcoholblended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol ormethanol) can attract moisture which leads toseparation and formation of acids during storage.-Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an enginewhile in storage. To avoid engine problems, the fuelsystem should be emptied before storage for 30Ldays or longer. Drain the gas tank, start the engineand let it run until the fuel lines and carburetor areempty. Use fresh fuel next season. See STORAGEinstructions for additional information. Never useengine or carburetor cleaner products in the fuel tankor permanent damage may occur.Fill gasoline tank as follows.• Remove fuel cap.• Make sure the container (from which you willpour the gasoline) is clean and free from rust orforeign particles.
