A pairofsafety glasses and a bottle ofoil are also includedinthe canon.UNPACKING FROM CARTONCut the corners of the canon.Remove all packing inserts.Remove all loose parts includingowner'smanual. See figure 1.Roll chipper-shredderout of the canon.Make certainall parts and literaturehave beenremovedbefore the cartonis discarded.LOOSE PARTS(Refer to figure 1.)a, Hopper Assemblyb. FunnelDISCONNECTING SPARK PLUGDisconnect the spark plug wire and move itaway from the spark plug before assemblingthechipper-shredder. See figure 2.Spark PlugWireFigure 2ATTACHING DISCHARGE CHUTERemove the wing knobs from each side of thedischarge opening on the chipper-shredder.Seefigure 3.Using two 7/16" wrenches, remove hex locknut,two spacers, and the bex bolt fromtop of thehousingassembly. For easy assembly,do notremove the second spacer from the hex bolt.Place the discharge chute in positionon thedischargeopening. Inserthex boltand spacer
