Float/Cage AssemblyWARNING: For your own safety,never connect plug to power sourceoutlet until all assembly steps arecomplete and you have read andunderstood the safety and operationinstructions. Do not operate vacwith any parts damaged or missing.1. Place the power assembly upside downinto the drum.2. Locate the float. Place the float over theopening in the center of the lid with thewords "This Side Towards Lid" layingface down over the hole.WARNING: To reduce the risk of per-sonal injury or damage to vac besure to keep hands, fingers, or anyother foreign objects out of the cen-ter opening when assembling thefloaL3. Line up filter cage tabs with the notchesin the center ring of the lid.4. Push on the filter cage until the tabssnap into the notches for a secure fit.FilterCageTabsSolid End_...- Filter CageTabs (3)Notched_ _ Area (3)Removing Filter CageIf filter cage needs to be removed,because the float is placed in the wrongway, use a fiat blade screwdriver andinsert the blade between the filter cageand the center ring of the lid. Pry the cageout of the lid. Tilt the cage and lift awayfrom the lid. To replace, follow float/cageassembly instructions.5
