Mower Cutting Height SwitchTo increase the mower cutting height (raise the mowerdeck), press the top of the yellow mower cutting heightswitch. To decrease mower cutting height (lower themower deck), press the bottom of the switch. Mowercutting height range is 3-3/4” to 1-1/2”. The cuttingheight gauge indicates the position of the mower deck..The cutting height gauge is located on the front of therider, just behind the driver’s left leg.Ignition SwitchThe ignition switch starts and stops the engine; it hasthree positions:OFF Stops the engine and shuts off theelectrical system.RUN Allows the engine to run and powers theelectrical system.START Cranks the engine for starting.NOTE: Never leave the ignition switch in the RUNposition with the engine stopped. This drains the battery.Hour MeterThe hour meter measures the number of hours the keyhas been in the RUN position.NOTE: The hour meter will register the passage of timewhen the key is in the RUN position, even if the engine isnot running.Mower Blade SwitchThe yellow mower blade switch turns the mower bladeson and off. To turn the mower blades ON, pull the switchup. To turn the mower blades OFF, push the switchdown.
