Ata minimum, keep all children, bystanders, and petsoutside a 50 feet (15 m.) radius; there still may be a riskto bystanders from thrown objects. Bystanders shouldbe encouraged to wear eye protection. If you areapproached, stop the unit immediately.• Use only Craftsman red medium thickness (85908)or black wide thickness (85909) replacement lines.Never use metal reinforced line, wire or rope.These can break off and become dangerous projectiles.• Squeeze the throttle control and check that it returnsautomatically to the idle position. Make all adjustmentsor repairs before using unit.• Do not operate this unit when tired, ill, under theinfluence of alcohol, drugs or medications.• This unit is intended for adult use only.
