Try things out on-sitebefore fixing any mounting positions.To learn more about optimizing youroffice or meeting room for videoconferencing, please read the Videoconferencing room primer andGuidelines for video conferencingroom acoustics documents availableon our web site.Place the microphone(s) asclose to all meeting participantsas possible.Place the camera just abovethe monitor to enhance theperceived eye contact.If using the camera mountingbracket, fasten it to the monitorwith the Velcro.When placing the monitor andcamera, use the camera selfview function to make sure allparticipants are captured by thecamera.Aim for good illumination of aperson’s face to avoid shadows.Also avoid direct light on themonitor to prevent reflections.The lower edge of the monitorshould be vertically aligned withthe table top.Monitors larger than 55” shouldbe placed slightly lower.
