These cards provide ADSL high-speed digital data transfer between a singlecustomer premises equipment (CPE) subscriber and a central office.ADSL WICs are available in three variations: ADSL over POTS (WIC-1ADSL), ADSL over POTS withDying Gasp support (WIC-1ADSL-DG), and ADSL over ISDN with DyingGasp support(WIC-1ADSL-I-DG). The ADSL over POTS WICs are commonly used to provide ADSL services overordinary telephone lines.
