1Basic Copy Settings 2-1232Making Copies in the Manual and Vocal ModeMaking 2-Sided Copies from Facing Pages ina BookThis mode enables you to make 2-sidedcopies from facing pages, or the front andback sides of a page in bound originals, suchas books and magazines.IMPORTANT•The Book 2-Sided mode cannot be usedwith other copy modes, depending on themodel of the machine you are using. Whenthe focus moves over [Book 2-Sided], youwill hear the Voice Navigation message,"cannot select this with the currentsettings."•Only LTR/A4 or B5 paper can be used forBook 2-Sided copying.•If you select [Front/Back 2-Sided], the frontside of the first 2-sided page and the backside of the last 2-sided page are left blank.(The machine's counter does not count theblank pages as copies.)•Place your original on the platen glass. TheBook 2-Sided mode cannot be used whenthe original is placed in the feeder.
