From theApplication folder within the Mac OS 8.6–9.xfolder, double-click on the software to beinstalled. Follow the on-screen instructions.Access your CD-ROM again. From theApplication folder, double-click on thesoftware to be installed.Follow the on-screen instructions. When the“Installation is Complete” screen appears,click OK.Insert the “i950 Setup Software & User'sGuide” CD-ROM.After the computer restarts, TURN THEPRINTER ON. Select the Apple menu,then Chooser.Click the i950 icon in the Chooser. Theprinter name will highlight and move tothe right panel.Read the License Agreement and clickAccept.Click Install. The printer driver will loadautomatically.If the message “No other applications canbe running…” displays, click Continue.When the “Installation was successful”screen displays, Restart your computer.Open the Mac OS 8.6–9.x folder, then openthe Printer Driver folder , then double-clickthe Installer icon.NOTE: Be sure to register your product. Theserial number is located on the inside of theprinter, to the right of the print head.When the message “The software wassucessfully installed” appears, click Restart.Turn on your Mac and your printer and insertthe “i950 Setup Software & User's Guide”CD-ROM.Select a destination for the printer driverto be installed. Then click Continue.Click Install. When a message asking foryour confirmation to proceed with theinstallation, click Continue Installation.Double-click the i950 icon.When the “Welcom to the BJ printer installer”screen appears, click Continue.Read the Software License Agreementand click Continue, then click Agree.Open the Mac OS X folder, then double-clickthe Printer Driver folder.NOTE: For v10.2 users, skip to the next stepNOTE: Be sure to register your product. ThePrinter List window appears.Under Printers menu, select Configure Printer.Select i950, and click Select.NOTE: For Mac OS 8.6–9.x: From the Filemenu in a software application, clickPage Setup, then click the Utilities button.b. Click the down-arrow to select Test Print.c. Click the Print Head Alignment icon.
