i350/i250 SeriesColor Bubble Jet PrinterStart HereConnect one end of a USB cable (notincluded) to the computer, the other tothe printer.Plug the power cord into the back of theprinter and connect the other end to apower outlet.Continue with Step 6on side two.USB Port USB CableProtective capInsert the black ink tank (BCI-24 Black)kinto the slot on the right. Press downuntil the ink tank locks into placeRepeat the procedure for the color inktank (BCI-24 Color), inserting it into theremaining slot. Close the front cover.Pull out the paper rest and the outputtray (i350 only).Remove the black ink tank (BCI-24 Black)from its package and pull off the orangeprotective cap.NOTE: To avoid spilling ink, do not touchthe bottom of the tank once you haveremoved the protective cap.ClickRemove the print head from its package.Raise the gray lock lever on the printer.Slide the print head into the holder untilit is securely seated.Lower the lever until it locks into place.Tear at notch to openElectricalcontactsNOTE: Do not touch the electrical contactson the back and bottom of the print head.Remove the orange protective cap.Open the front cover.
