86You can choose a specific person’s face to focus on and then shoot.Set the camera to [Face Detect](p. 82).Set Face Select mode.● Point the camera toward the face of thesubject and press the button.X After [Face Select : On] displays, anorange face frame will appear aroundthe face detected as the main subject.● Even if the subject moves, the face framewill follow the subject within a certainrange.● If a face is not detected, will notappear.Choose the face on which to focus.● If you press the qr buttons or turn the dial, the face frame will move toanother face detected by the camera.● If you press the m button or thebutton, the frame around the chosen facewill turn white.Shoot.● Press the shutter button halfway.
