You can turn off this function.● Choose [Hints & Tips], then press the qrbuttons to choose [Off].Changing the File Number AssignmentImages you shoot are automatically assigned file numbers in the order theywere taken, from 0001 – 9999, and saved to folders of up to 2,000 images.You can change the file number assignment.● Choose [File Numbering], then press the qrbuttons to choose an option.If you change the date or time in the setting (p. 19), your time anddate will automatically change.ContinuousEven if you shoot using a new memorycard, the file numbers are assignedconsecutively until an image with thenumber 9999 is taken/saved.Auto ResetIf you replace the memory card with anew one, file numbering begins with0001 again.• If you use a memory card already containing images, the newlyassigned file numbers may continue the existing numbering for both the[Continuous] and [Auto Reset] settings.
