57TroubleshootingThe device may beincompatible.Remove the device and checkthe manual supplied with theconnected device.Disconnect the cable connecting the printer and the device, andthen reconnect it.Depending on the model or brand of your device, you may haveto select a PictBridge-compliant print mode on the device beforeconnecting it to the printer. You may also have to turn on thecamera or select Play mode manually after connecting thedevice to the printer. Disconnect the cable connection, dismissthe error message on the printer, and perform necessaryoperations according your device’s instruction manual beforereconnecting it to the printer.If the error is still not resolved, there is a possibility that you areusing a digital camera or digital video camcorder that is notsupported by this printer. Use a digital camera or digital videocamcorder compatible with this printer.Error code An error requiring servicing may have occurred. Turn off theprinter, and unplug the power cord of the printer from the powersupply. If you are attaching the optional battery, remove it once.After a while, plug the power cord of the printer back in, and thenturn on the printer. If the same error occurs, contact a Canonservice representative.The card is currently write-enabled.Set to read-only mode beforeperforming operation.The Card Slot is set to Read/write mode.You cannot print in this mode. After writing on the memory card,set to Read-only mode again.No battery. Turn printer off anduse the AC adapter or install acharged battery.The optional battery is running low.(1) Turn off the printer.(2) Connect the supplied AC adapter or attach the chargedbattery, then turn on the printer.
