1. NEW TECHNOLOGIES(1) New ink tank system (PGI-5, CLI-8)An LED is installed in each ink tank.By the LED indication, wrong installation of the ink tanks will be prevented, and the remaining ink level can be visuallyrecognized with the ink tanks seated in the carriage.The combination of the new pigment-based black ink with higher resistance against bleeding or marker pens and the new dye-based inks with higher photo quality and weather resistance makes the new ink system strong in both photo and text printing.(2) Super-photo quality printingBy the FINE technologies, 1 pl of ultra-fine ink droplet is adopted.
