Whenmultiple computers or printers are present, this can be used to change the nameto one that is easy to remember.Port NamePort names should consist of alphanumeric characters and be no longer than 24characters (12 characters in Windows Me or Windows 98), excluding the prefix.The port name includes the fixed prefix “CNBJNP_”, which you do not need toenter.Problem Possible Cause and MeasuresUnable to determine whether the CardSlot is mountedOpen My Computer, and find the canon_memory on‘MP600R(xxxxxxxxxxxx)’ icon with the mapped drive letter.* xxxxxxxxxxxx are 12 alphanumeric characters.* The icon name may vary depending on the language version of Windowsyou are using.The CANON_MEMORY icon appears on the desktop.The available drive letter cannot beselected on the Network Setup of theCard Slot dialog boxz On this dialog box, only D to Z can be selected as the network drive for theCard Slot.z The network setup of the Card Slot may have already succeeded, and thecomputer merely fails to access the Card Slot for other reasons.
