110 VideoTo display the audio level indicatorUsually, the audio level indicator will be displayed only after activatingthe manual adjustment of the audio recording level. You can choose todisplay it also when the audio level is adjusted automatically.NOTES• When the audio level meter reaches the red point (0 dB), the sound maybe distorted.• If the audio level is too high and the sound gets distorted, activate themicrophone attenuator with the p > [Microphone Attenuator] set-ting.• We recommend using headphones to check the sound level whileadjusting the audio recording level or when the microphone attenuatoris activated.Using HeadphonesUse headphones for playback or to check the audio level while record-ing. The headphones are connected to the AV OUT/× terminal, whichis used for both the headphones and the audio/video output. Beforeconnecting the headphones, follow the procedure below to change thefunction of the terminal from AV output to × (headphones) output.Operating modes:1 Press .2 Change the function of the terminal to headphones output.3 Connect the headphones to the AV OUT/× terminal.[FUNC.] > [ä Mic.
