25S T E P 2ProceduresSelect the [Prefs] menu in the control panel.The Settings pull-down menu will display.Select the desired option from the pull-down menu.• Selecting any one of the Units, Basic Resolution or Preview Window optionsdisplays the respective dialog for it. Choose the desired value in the dialog andselect [OK] to change the setting.• A confirmation dialog will display if Resets default settings is selected. The settingswill be reset if [Yes] is selected in that dialog.CalibrationIf the scanner’s color balance is out of equilibrium, select [Calibration] to start theadjustment process.
