54In indoors, low light, or backlit conditions, just pop-up the built-in flash and pressthe shutter button to take flash pictures. This is to protect the flash unit. If you press the shutter button halfwayand “DbuSY” is displayed in the viewfinder (and [BUSYD] on the LCDmonitor), wait until the display turns off.
