This does not constitute a malfunction.Shooting Mode( or on the mode switch)• The LCD monitor turns on or changesthe display mode as follows with eachpress of the button.Standard (No Information)Detailed (Information View)Off• The LCD monitor setting (On or Off) is saved by the camerawhen the power is turned off so that the same setting isautomatically available when the power is turned on again.However, the setting may be lost when the power has beenturned off after the “Change the battery pack” message hasdisplayed, while the LCD monitor was on in shooting mode.• In the , or mode, the LCD monitor turns onregardless of its On/Off setting.• Set the flash to [On] or affix the camera to a tripod whenthe upper indicator flashes orange and the camera blurwarning icon ( ) appears in the LCD monitor after themetering preparations are complete.▼▼▼
