82 • Additional Information- Finalize the disc using the camcorder( 49).- DVD-RW discs in VR mode can only beplayed back with VR mode-compatibleDVD players. Refer to the instructionmanual of your DVD device.Cannot edit my recordings or addrecordings to the disc with the DVDdevice.- It may not be possible to edit or addrecordings with an external DVDrecorder on a disc recorded with thiscamcorder.Memory Card OperationMemory card cannot be inserted.- Memory card is not facing the correctdirection. Turn the memory card overand reinsert it ( 29).Cannot record on the memory card.- Memory card is full. Erase still images( 56) to free some space or replacethe memory card.- Memory card was not initialized.Initialize the memory card ( 60).- The folder and file numbers havereached their maximum value. Set[FILE NOS.] to [RESET] ( 77) andinsert a new memory card.- The write-protect switch on an SD orSDHC memory card is set to preventaccidental erasure. Change the positionof the write-protect switch.Memory card cannot be played back.- Set the camcorder to mode( 54).Image cannot be erased.- Image is protected. Cancel theprotection ( 59).- The write-protect switch on an SD orSDHC memory card is set to preventaccidental erasure. Change the positionof the write-protect switch.appears in red.- A memory card error occurred. Turn offthe camcorder. Remove and reinsertthe memory card. Initialize the memorycard ( 60) if the icon still appears inred.PrintingThe printer is not operating even thoughthe camcorder and printer are correctlyconnected.- Disconnect the USB cable and turn offthe camcorder and the printer. Wait until thecamcorder dries completely beforeresuming use ( 90).CANNOT READ THE DISCCHECK THE DISC- Disc could not be read. Try cleaning itor replace the disc ( 87).- This message can also appear if thecamcorder has exceeded itsoperational temperature. Turn off thecamcorder and let it cool down beforeresuming use.- This message can also appear ifcondensation has formed. Wait until thecamcorder dries completely beforeresuming use ( 90).- The disc may not be loaded correctly.Try removing the disc and reinserting it( 27).COPY
