43Chapter 3 Using the Scanner3Using the ScannerPrinting ImagesTo print an image projected onto the screen, you can either send the scanned imagedata to the printer (Scan batch to printer) or print an image downloaded to the PC.The print procedures differ for the two methods. In the case of Scan batch to printer, the procedure also differs depending on the carrierused. Refer to the instructions for your carrier for details.Scan Batch to PrinterIn the “Scan batch to printer” method, the image projected on the screen is scannedand sent directly to the printer. In this mode, because the scanned image is not automati-cally saved, the image should be saved if necessary.1Project the image onto the scanner screen.2Check [Printer setting...].3Select [File]-[Print Format].• Actual sizePrints at the size shown on the screen, regardless of the paper used for printing and theresolution at which the image was scanned.• Fit to paperIf the image size is larger than the paper size, this setting shrinks the image to matchthe paper size. If the image is smaller than the paper size, the image is printed at actualsize.• Actual PixelPrints each dot in the scanned image as one dot on the printer. Accordingly, the printedimage is smaller when it is printed on a high-resolution printer that prints smaller dots.
