See section“Using your induction cooktop”for instructions.The touch controlsare difficult tooperate.There may be a slight film ofwater over the controls oryou may be using the tip ofyour finger when touchingthe controls.Make sure the touch control areais dry and use the ball of yourfinger when touching thecontrols.The glass is beingscratched.Rough-edged cookware.Unsuitable, abrasive scoureror cleaning products beingused.Use cookware with flat andsmooth bases. See “Choosing theright cookware”.See “Care and cleaning”.Some pans makecrackling or clickingnoises.This may be caused by theconstruction of yourcookware (layers of differentmetals vibrating differently).This is normal for cookware anddoes not indicate a fault.The induction hobmakes a lowhumming noisewhen used on ahigh heat setting.This is caused by thetechnology of inductioncooking.This is normal, but the noiseshould quieten down or disappearcompletely when you decreasethe heat setting.Fan noise comingfrom the inductionhob.A cooling fan built into yourinduction hob has come on toprevent the electronics fromoverheating. It may continueto run even after you'veturned the induction hob off.This is normal and needs no action.Do not switch the power to theinduction hob off at the wall whilethe fan is running.
