Important!Everyday soiling onglass (fingerprints,marks, stains left byfood or non-sugaryspillovers on theglass)1. Switch the power to the hoboff.2. Apply a cooktop cleanerwhile the glass is still warm(but not hot!)3. Rinse and wipe dry with aclean cloth or paper towel.4. Switch the power to thecooktop back on.• When the power to the hob isswitched off, there will be no “hotsurface” indication but the cookingzone may still be hot! Take extremecare.• Heavy-duty scourers, some nylonscourers and harsh/abrasivecleaning agents may scratch theglass. Always read the label to checkif your cleaner or scourer is suitable.• Never leave cleaning residue on thecooktop: the glass may becomestained.Boilovers, melts,and hot sugary spillson the glassRemove these immediatelywith a fish slice, palette knifeor razor blade scraper suitablefor Induction glass cooktops,but beware of hot cooking zonesurfaces:1. Switch the power to thecooktop off at the wall.2. Hold the blade or utensil at a30° angle and scrape thesoiling or spill to a cool areaof the cooktop.3. Clean the soiling or spill upwith a dish cloth or papertowel.4. Follow steps 2 to 4 for“Everyday soiling on glass”above.• Remove stains left by melts andsugary food or spillovers as soon aspossible. If left to cool on the glass,they may be difficult to remove oreven permanently damage the glasssurface.• Cut hazard: when the safety cover isretracted, the blade in a scraper israzor-sharp. Use with extreme careand always store safely and out ofreach of children.Spillovers on thetouch controls1. hob the power to thecooktop off.2. Soak up the spill3. Wipe the touch control areawith a clean damp sponge orcloth.4. Wipe the area completelydry with a paper towel.5. Switch the power to thecooktop back on.• The hob may beep and turn itselfoff, and the touch controls may notfunction while there is liquid onthem. Make sure you wipe the touchcontrol area dry before turning thehob back on.
