WEATHER STATION INSTALLATION2-7PS12For safety reasons, DO NOT mount the 110VAC supply directly to the weather station.Mount the transformer external to the stationsand run 16 VAC to the station (Figure 2.5-2).The maximum distance for the 16 VAC using an18 awg cable is 2000 ft. The electricalconnections should be done in accordance withthe National, State, and Local electrical codes.Solar PanelThe solar panel is mounted (Figure 2.3-2) onthe south side of the weather station (northernhemisphere only) and connects to the terminalslabeled "INPUT EXTERNAL CHARGINGSOURCE" (Figure 2.5-1).FIGURE 2.5-1.
