Use a product that is specificallydesigned to protect spa covers and pillows from chemical and ultraviolet light damage without leaving anoily residue behind that is normally associated with common automotive vinyl protectants.Warning: Do not use automotive vinyl protectants on spa covers or pillows. These products are generallyoil-based and will cause severe water clarity issues that are difficult to correct.Spa ShellEach time you drain your spa, before you refill it you should clean your spa shell with an all-purpose cleanerand apply a coat of surface protectant.Use a low detergent, non-abrasive cleaner specifically formulated to clean the spa without damaging itsacrylic finish.Use a non-oil based surface protectant that is specifically formulated to protect the spa’s finish from thechemicals and minerals associated with normal spa use.
