Color Mode: This option allows you to adjust yourscreen mode between Auto, Day, and Night. Day modewill change the navigation system screen to a lighterbackground for better viewing in the daytime. Nightmode will change the navigation system screento a darker background for better viewing at night. Automode will adjust the screen automatically dependingon exterior lighting conditions._ (Contrast): This feature allows the adjustment ofcontrast of the navigation screen. Touch the plus (+) orminus (−) signs on either side of the contrast bargraph to increase or decrease the contrast.] (Brightness): This feature allows the adjustment ofbrightness of the navigation screen. Touch the plus (+) orminus (−) signs on either side of the brightness bar graphto increase or decrease the brightness.Screen OFF: This feature allows you to turn thenavigation screen off. Touch any hard key to turn thescreen back on.Magnetic Ride Control (Magnetic RideControl Displayed on Configure Menu)If your vehicle has this feature, select between thefollowing screen buttons:Performance: Select this screen button when roadconditions or personal preference demand more control.This setting provides more “feel” or response to roadconditions.Touring: Select this screen button for normal city andhighway driving. This setting provides a smooth,soft ride.If your vehicle’s system displays the configure menuthat does not have Magnetic Ride Control on the display,see “Occupant Information” under Personalization onpage 5-2 for more information.2-66
