Once installed, the programcan also be used by users who do not have administrative privileges.Close system monitoring software before installingIf system monitoring software such as anti-virus programs are installed on your computer, you must close them untilyou’ve finished installing SONAR. You must also remember to close applications that are not shown in the Windowstaskbar.Before opening the CD-ROM, be sure to read the “License Agreement” at the end of the SONAR User’sGuide.By opening the CD-ROM, you agree to accept the terms of the License Agreement.What is a Driver?A driver is software that transfers data between the VS-700 and application software on your computer when yourcomputer and the VS-700 are connected via a USB cable. You will need to install the driver before connecting theVS-700 with your computer.* Log on to Windows as a user whose account type is administrator (such as the Administrator account).* The driver disk contains the VS-700R driver and the VS-700C driver.
