Troubleshooting en49Fault Cause troubleshootingColoured coatings (blue, yel-low, brown) that are difficultor impossible to remove arepresent inside the applianceor on stainless steel table-ware.may not always be possible to com-pletely remove deposits but theyare harmless to health.Coloured deposits (yellow,orange, brown) that are easyto remove are present insidethe appliance (mainly at thebottom).The formation of films is dueto ingredients of food rem-nants and tap water (limes-cale) "soaplike".1. Check the setting of the watersoftening system.2. Add special salt.→ "Adding special salt", Page 283. If you are using combined deter-gents (tabs), activate the watersoftening system.Follow the information about deter-gents.→ "Information on detergents",Page 32Plastic parts inside the appli-ance are discoloured.Plastic parts inside the appli-ance may become discol-oured during the life of thedishwasher.▶ Discolouration can come about andwill not impair functioning of the ap-pliance.Plastic parts are discol-oured.Washing temperature is toolow.▶ Select a programme with a higherwashing temperature.Tableware has been pre-cleaned too intensely. Thesensors chose a weaker pro-gramme.
