This is a self-cleaning function.Shredder continues to run for1 or 2 seconds after shreddinghas been completed.Symptom Remedy- Make sure shredder is plugged in.- Make sure power switch is in “Auto” position.- Make sure bin is fully closed.- Check to see if bin is full. If bin is full, empty bin andreplace. Follow instructions under maintenance.- Check to see if either bin is overfull which could resultin a jam. If so, empty.- If you are unable to clear the jam, turn off and unplugthe shredder. Slowly and carefully pull the remainingpaper out.
