Remove the adjustable foot from the leftside of the laser by pulling straight out. Unscrew the battery cover as shown in figure 2 andinsert 2 ”AA” alkaline batteries with the positive (+) side facing out toward the battery cover.Replace the battery cover and left adjustable foot.WARNING: Batteries can explode, or leak, and can cause injury or fire. To reduce thisrisk:• Carefully follow all instructions and warnings on the battery label and package.• Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -), marked onthe battery and the equipment.• Do not short battery terminals.• Do not charge batteries.• Do not mix old and new batteries. replace all of them at the same time withnew batteries of the same brand and type.• Remove dead batteries immediately and dispose of per local codes.• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.• Keep batteries out of reach of children.• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for several months.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONSOperating InstructionsDANGER: Laser Radiation, avoid direct eye exposure.On/Off SwitchCheck to make sure that the laser beam is pointing away from you and press the ON/OFFswitch shown in figure 3 to turn the laser ON. Press the switch a second time to turn the laserOFF.Use With Crosshair Line LensThe beam splitter is designed with a high precision 90˚ prism for generating crosshair beams.• Attach the magnetic beam splitter to the laser as shown in figure 4.• Check to make sure that the laser beam is pointing away from you and press the ON/OFFswitch to activate the laser function.
