295.0 FEATURESTo adjust the seat back height, turn the movingback adjuster knob behind the seat clockwiseto increase the seat back height and counterclockwise to decrease the seat back height.Each half turn will raise or lower the slots 1/2”.The proper height of the harness straps iseven with or just below your child’s shoulders.Remove the Safety Seat from the Base androtate the Carry Handle to the non rockingposition. Place your child in the Safety Seatsuch that your child’s bottom is all the way tothe rear and bottom of the seat. (See Fig. 35-2)Rotate the knob behind the seat back to raiseor lower the moving seat back and harnessstraps. Knob must remain in vertical positionafter adjustment. (Fig. 29-1) The HarnessStraps must be even with or just below thechild’s shoulders. (Fig. 29-2) DO NOT use theSafety Seat with the Harness adjusted abovethe child’s shoulders as the child will not beheld securely in a sharp turn, sudden stop,or crash.Fixed Back Safety SeatThe fixed seat back version of the SafetySeat features three height adjustments for theharness shoulder straps.
