36 Chapter 3Manually initiating synchronizationOnce you have set up ActiveSync and completed the first synchronizationprocess, you can initiate synchronization from your device at any time.To manually initiate synchronization:1. Tap > Programs > ActiveSync to display the ActiveSync screen.2. To start synchronization, connect your device to your computer, thentap Sync.To end synchronization, tap Stop.You may synchronize via IR (infrared port) or before changingsynchronization settings.
