V108 Operation Manual, Xymba XB-42© 2008, Acronova Technology, Inc. 15To avoid excessive disc failure, Xymba is designed with the followingrules when disc failure is encountered: In a normal duplication session with dual recorders inoperation, if a recorder continuously fails to write to three discsin sequence, this recorder will be deactivated and Xymba willuse the other recorder to continue the job until the disc loaderis empty. In a single-recorder duplication session, if the recordercontinuously fails to write to three discs in sequence, Xymbawill halt the active duplication session and the LED indicatorstatus will show an error. In a single duplication session if a total of ten failuresaccumulate, Xymba will stop the active duplication sessionand the LED indicator status will show an error.To resume operation from an error, carefully check for and resolve anynoticeable problems, press the button for the desired duplication speedto resume the session.Important:In case that Xymba has been turned off, always wait for 30seconds before turning it back on. Then, reload the master andblank discs and press the appropriate button to start a new job.Reject Disc OutputXymba is equipped with a Reject Disc Tray and a Reject Disc Slot onthe front side of the unit. Only one of them can be used to handlerejected discs depending on whether the Reject DiscTray is open or not.To open the Reject Disc Tray, simply pull down the topof the tray away from the Xymba unit and lay itdownward as shown in the illustration to the right.When the Reject Disc Tray is open as shown, rejected discs will besent to this tray. The tray will hold up to three discs. Once the tray isfull, the overflow discs will be pushed off the tray. The use of acontainer is suggested to collect the overflow discs.In case the Reject Disc Tray is closed, rejected discs will be discardedthrough the Reject Disc Slot. You may place a container in front ofthe Reject Disc Slot to receive possible rejected discs.
