30EnglishProblems with the Projector8 Image is stretchedwhen displaying a"widescreen"DVD titleWhen you play a DVD encoded in anamorphic or 16:9aspect ratio you may need to adjust the followingsettings:• If you play a 4:3 format DVD title, please change theformat to 4:3 with the projector OSD.• If the image is still stretched, you will also need toadjust the aspect ratio. Set up the display format to16:9 (wide) aspect ratio on your DVD player.9 Image is too smallor too large • Adjust the zoom lever on the top of the projector.• Move the projector closer to or further from thescreen.• Press "MENU" on the control panel or remotecontrol. Go to "Image > Aspect Ratio" and trydifferent settings.10 Image has slantedsides • If possible, reposition the projector so that it iscentered on the screen and below the bottom of thescreen.• Press the Keystone correction keys on the controlpanel or remote control until the image becomessquare.• Press "MENU" on the control panel or remotecontrol to open the OSD menu. Go to "Image > AutoKeystone" or "Image > Manual Keystone" to makeadjustments.11 Image is reversed • Select "Image > Projection Mode", "Image >Projection Location" on the OSD and adjust theprojection direction.# Condition Solution1 The projector stops respondingto all controlsIf possible, turn off the projector, thenunplug the power cord and wait at least 30seconds before reconnecting power.2 Lamp burns out or makes apopping soundWhen the lamp reaches the end of its usefullife, it will burn out and may make a loudpopping sound. If this happens, the projectorwill not turn on until the lamp module hasbeen replaced. To replace the lamp, followthe procedures in the "Replacing the Lamp"section.
