Chapter 3 Entering softpatch and system settings 21Entering numbers of dimmersBefore you begin custom softpatching, you should enter the numberof dimmers you have. This information is entered using the LCDOperator Display. To enter number of dimmers, follow these steps:1. Press [Setup]. LCD Operator Display reads:Setup UtilityDISK PRINT CONFIG2. Press [F3] (Config); display reads:Select Setup DesiredPATCH CONSOLE QUIT3. Press [F1] (Patch). One of six patch option screens appears in theLCD Operator Display.4. Use [F1] (Last) and [F2] (Next) to scroll through the setup optionsuntil display reads:1 Number of Dimmers 512LAST NEXT CHANGENote: This example shows 512 dimmers. Actual dimmer optionsare 48, 96, 144, 192, 240, 288, 336, 384, 432, 480, or 512. Thenumber in the upper right hand corner indicates the number ofdimmers.5. Press [F3] (Change) to scroll through the choices of dimmernumbers.
