How to Create an XML Application41-001160-00, Rev 01 Release 2.0 G-21Creating an XML ApplicationAppendix GDirectory Object (Directory List Screen) (57i only)The Directory object allows you to browse an online directory in real time. Itdisplays an automatically numbered list of contacts. By selecting a contact withthe cursor, the contact can be dialed directly by pressing the "Dial" softkey orpicking up the receiver. The Directory object has the optional softkeys of"Previous" and "Next" which can be linked to other XML objects.ImplementationThe following is how you would implement the Directory object in XML.Softkeys:• 1=Dial,• 6= Done,• 2=Previous (optional),• 5=Next (optional)XML Description:previous="uri">Directory TitleContact NamenumberNote: If you don’t specify a date, the XML script uses the current date inthe specified format.Note:1. For all available parameters you can use for the Directory object, andfor an explanation of each parameter, see Aastra Telecom’s"XML Developer’s Guide".2. If the URI entry contains a "?" the phone appends an "&" instead.
