The phone sends the SIP message to the SIP proxy, whichthen forwards the call to the assigned destination.Call forwarding is disabled by default. You can configure call forwarding on aphone-wide basis or on multi-line phones on a per-line basis. If you haveconfigured call forwarding on an individual line, then the settings for this line areused; otherwise, the phone-wide call forward settings are used.You can configure call forwarding on all phones (global settings) or on specificlines (local settings) of a single phone.For call forwarding you can set the following:• Call forward mode• Destination number• Number of rings before forwarding the call (from 1 to 9 rings)The following are the call forward modes you can set:Call Forward Mode DescriptionOff Disables call forwardAll Phone forwards all incoming callsimmediately to the specified destination.Busy Phone forwards incoming calls if the line isalready in use.No Answer Phone forwards the call if it is notanswered in the specified number of ringsBusy No Answer Phone forwards the call if either the line isalready in use or the call is not answeredin the specified number of rings.Global(per-lline only)Phone uses the phone-wide call forwardsetting. This is only valid when setting themode of individual lines.
