Model 9133i SIP Admin Guide 34Limited WarrantyLimited WarrantyAastra Telecom warrants this productagainst defects and malfunctionsduring a one (1) year period from thedate of original purchase. If there is adefect or malfunction, Aastra Telecomshall, at its option, and as theexclusive remedy, either repair orreplace the telephone set at no charge,if returned within the warrantyperiod.If replacement parts are used inmaking repairs, these parts may berefurbished, or may containrefurbished materials. If it is necessaryto replace the telephone set, it may bereplaced with a refurbished telephoneof the same design and color. If itshould become necessary to repair orreplace a defective or malfunctioningtelephone set under this warranty, theprovisions of this warranty shallapply to the repaired or replacedtelephone set until the expiration ofninety (90) days from the date of pickup, or the date of shipment to you, ofthe repaired or replacement set, oruntil the end of the original warrantyperiod, whichever is later. Proof of theoriginal purchase date is to beprovided with all telephone setsreturned for warranty repairs.ExclusionsAastra Telecom does not warrant itstelephone sets to be compatible withthe equipment of any particulartelephone company. This warrantydoes not extend to damage toproducts resulting from improperinstallation or operation, alteration,accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, fireor natural causes such as storms orfloods, after the telephone is in yourpossession.Aastra Telecom shall not be liable forany incidental or consequentialdamages, including, but not limitedto, loss, damage or expense directly orindirectly arising from the customersuse of or inability to use thistelephone, either separately or incombination with other equipment.This paragraph, however, shall notapply to consequential damages forinjury to the person in the case oftelephones used or bought for useprimarily for personal, family orhousehold purposes.This warranty sets forth the entireliability and obligations of AastraTelecom with respect to breach ofwarranty, and the warranties set forthor limited herein are the solewarranties and are in lieu of all otherwarranties, expressed or implied,including warranties or fitness forparticular purpose andmerchantability.Warranty Repair ServicesShould the set fail during thewarranty period;In North America, please call1-800-574-1611 for furtherinformation.Outside North America, contact yoursales representative for returninstructions.You will be responsible for shippingcharges, if any. When you return thistelephone for warranty service, youmust present proof of purchase.After Warranty ServiceAastra Telecom offers ongoing repairand support for this product. Thisservice provides repair or replacementof your Aastra Telecom product, atAastra Telecom's option, for a fixedcharge. You are responsible for allshipping charges. For furtherinformation and shippinginstructions;In North America, contact our serviceinformation number: 1-800-574-1611.Outside North America, contact yoursales representative.Note: Repairs to this product may be madeonly by the manufacturer and itsauthorized agents, or by others whoare legally authorized.
