(Dis-able this field by unchecking thebox).3 Click to save yourchanges.Configuring Network SettingsIf you disable DHCP on yourphone, you need to configure thenetwork settings manually. Use thefollowing procedures to configurethe phone’s network settingsmanually.From the IP Phone:1 Press won the phone toenter the Options List.2 Select Network.3 Select IP Address and enter theIP address of the phone.4 Select Subnet Mask and enterthe subnet mask.5 Select Gateway and enter thegateway address.6 Select DNS and enter a Primaryand/or Secondary DNS server.7 Press Done to save the changes.The IP phone is manuallyconfigured. You can now continuethe phone configuration if requiredusing the wbutton on the IPphone.From the Aastra Web UI:1 Click on AdvancedSettings->Network.2 Enter an IP address of the phonein the IP Address field.3 Enter a subnet mask in the Sub-net Mask field.4 Enter a gateway in the Gatewayfield.5 Enter a Primary DNS in thePrimary DNS field, and/or asecondary DNS in the Second-ary DNS field.6 Click to save yourchanges.The IP phone is manuallyconfigured. You can now continuethe phone configuration if requiredusing the Aastra Web UI.Configuration Server ProtocolYou can download new versions offirmware and confguration filesfrom the configuration server tothe IP phone using any of thefollowing types of protocols: TFTP,FTP, HTTP. The TFTP setting is thedefault download protocol. Youcan configure the type of protocolthat the IP phone uses by setting itin the IP phone UI, the Aastra WebUI, or the configuration files.
