Health and SafetyConsumer ProtectionAs a responsible manufacturer, we take care to make surethat our products are designed and constructed to meet therequired safety standards when properly installed and used.n Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept awayunless continuously supervised. Cleaning anduser maintenance MUST not be made by childrenwithout supervision.n CHILDREN SHOULD BE KEPT AWAY FROM THEAPPLIANCE AS SOME SURFACES CAN BECOME HOTTO THE TOUCH.n WARNING: ACCESSIBLE PARTS MAY BECOME HOTDURING USE. TO AVOID BURNS AND SCALDSCHILDREN SHOULD BE KEPT AWAY.n WARNING: During use the appliance becomes hot.Care should be taken to avoid touching heatingelements inside the ovens.n WARNING : Any spillages should be removed fromthe hotplate lids before they are opened.n WARNING : This appliance is not intended tobe operated by means of an external timer notapproved by AGA or a separate remote-controlsystem.n CAUTION: The cooking process has to be supervised.A short term cooking process has to be supervisedcontinously.n WARNING: Danger of fire: Do not store items on thecooking surfaces.n WARNING: Unattended cooking on a hob with fat oroil can be dangerous and may result in fire. NEVERtry to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off theappliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or fireblanket.n IMPORTANT: Oil is a fire risk, NEVER leave panscontaining oil or fat unattended during the heatingor cooking period.n Never fill the pan more than one-third fill of fat oroil.n Installation and maintenance must be performed bya qualified installer or service agency.n WARNING! This appliance must be installed withan appropriate device that will allow permanentdisconnection of the Live and Neutral conductors.During Installation or disconnection prior to anyelectrical work, the appliance must be permanentlydisconnected from the Supply (Live) and NeutralConductors.n If a supply cord is damaged it must be replacedby the manufacturer, its service agent or similarlyqualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.This appliance operates on single phase. To adjust to 2or 3 phase installation, an optional adapter kit must beobtained (Part No. AE4M280352).n DO NOT use a steam cleaner on your cooker.n To avoid overheating, DO NOT install the cookerbehind a decorative door.n For correct installation of the oven shelves, refer tothe user instructions.n DO NOT use abrasive pads, caustic cleaners, ovencleaners or metal scrapers to clean the surfaces ofthe enamel.n IMPORTANT: AGA recommend Vitreous EnamelAssociation approved cleaners for cleaning thevitreous enamelled surfaces of this product.n DO NOT put oven doors or resting plates in adishwasher.n Children should be supervised to ensure that theydo not play with the appliance.Cooker Base or HearthIt is essential that the base or hearth on which the cookerand should be level and capable of supporting the totalweight of one or both units.The front plinth cover is removable and must not beobstructed by flooring or tiles. If necessary the cooker mustbe raised by the thickness of the tiles to ensure the plinth canbe removed.
