3715. Servicing the Aga 6-4A. TO REMOVE HOTPLATE1. Isolate from electric supply.2. Remove pan supports and burner caps (Fig. 15.1)3. Remove burner fixing screws (14) and hotplate fixingnuts (8).4. Lift off burner fixing rings (6).5. Lift off hotplate castings in the following order: lefthand, right hand and centre (Fig. 15.2).NOTE: Each hotplate casting has an earth lead. Each leadmust be disconnected before completely removing hotplatecasting (Fig. 15.3).6. Re-assemble in reverse order.B. TO REMOVE SIDE PANELS1. Isolate from electric supply.2. Lower the cooker onto the rollers by turning theadjusting feet fully anti-clockwise.NOTE: It may be necessary to disconnect the flexible gasconnection to allow the cooker to be withdrawn frombetween the kitchen units.3. Roll the cooker slightly forward, unhook the safety chainand disconnect the flexible hose.4. Remove rear fixing screws (3) and slide side panel backand out.5.
