When the cooker is level and in the correct position, thetwo feet at the front corners of the cooker MUST belowered to come into contact with the floor and support thecooker (tighten the locknuts). The two front mobilitywheels must then be raised by at least one turn (anti-clockwise of the adjusting screw) to ensure that thecooker is locked in place and cannot accidentally roll outof position.Conversion to LPIf the appliance is to be converted to LP gas do theconversion at this point. See the conversion section ofthese instructions.Fitting the splashback (optional)To fit the splashback, the appliance must be moved outslightly to gain access to the rear of the appliance.Remove 4 screws as shown.Fit new splashback as shown.Gas ConnectionFitting a stability bracketA stability bracket or chain (not supplied with the cooker)should be fitted when the cooker is connected to a flexiblegas supply. Any restraining device should be secured tothe fabric of the building and should be able to be releasedso that the cooker can be pulled out for cleaning andmaintenance.When fitting a stability bracket read these instructionstogether with the leaflet supplied with the bracket.a. Position and level the appliance.b. Draw a pencil line along the front edge of the base ofthe cooker and along the right hand edge.c. Remove the range.d. Mark off 495mm from the RH side of the unit to indicatethe centre line for the bracket.e. Mark off 415mm to locate the front edge of the lowerbracket. Fix bracket to floor.f. Measure the height from floor level to the bottom of theopening in the cooker back.Add 3mm to this dimension and assemble the stabilitybracket to this height (i.e. from floor level to underside oftop member).31
